The past is just a memory, the future is just a dream, if the clock told the truth it would just say NOW!. Taking inspiration from a prisoner on death row, which where I first heard the aforementioned short poem, to takeaway messages from the book by Dan and Chop Heath, The Power of Moments, being present is a topic I have been thinking quite deeply about recently. What does it mean to be present? Can it exist? etc. This week I discuss my journal entry in relation to the ‘being present’ debate after firstly being introduced to Panaetius, known as the Stoic Connector.
